NANO SILICA-RUBBER COMPOSITE

BACKGROUND

  • It is possible to secure global competitiveness by solving the problem of wear resistance and dispersion, which are high-performance problems of nanoporous silica in the tire labeling system, in a liquid slurry state with nano-dispersion technology

  • Due to the introduction of the energy efficiency rating system for truck/bus tires in Korea from 2023, high transfer of silica is essential, which requires silica-natural rubber process technology on liquid slurry, and new material process technology to improve physical properties

  • Commercial mass production of nanoporous silica is conducted in almost all countries, universities, and industries as inorganic condensers through acid decomposition reactions, but global companies are competitively focusing their efforts to solve the problem due to environmental problems such as additives used together with dispersion

OUR TECHNOLOGY

  • Highly dispersed silica synthesis approached by nanoporous silica specific surface area and CTAB

  • Synthesis of graphene-immobilized silica by graphene immobilization on nanoporous silica

  • 5% improvement in fuel efficiency of tires can contribute to "Net Zero"

  • Reduce the process cost of distribution of tires by 50% or more by solving the problem of dispersion

  • Decentralized manufacturing costs in the coating, special rubber and tire industries can be reduced by more than 50%.

  • Reduce braking distance on wet surfaces by up to 30% to dramatically improve rain stability

  • 20% or more increase in tire durability by addressing wear resistance caused by graphene
